Very tasty food. You can eat very well here, there are typical Bavarian dishes but also seasonal dishes. The beer is from the Fuchsbeck, a small but fine brewery from the next larger town. If you want to go out to eat in comfort and drink a good beer, you are in good hands here. The staff is very friendly, the senior boss is a typical Upper Palatinate, not angry but very direct. A "secret tip" is your own butcher's shop, where you can always get fresh meat and sausages. Excellent taste and it is advisable to buy the meat there for the next few days after the visit. Here you know where the meat comes from and the price is absolutely OK.

After the restrictions of the last few weeks our first meal: came to this restaurant spontaneously, were warmly welcomed by the senior landlord, were quickly greeted by a super-nice waitress, the food came very quickly, was lovingly prepared and tasted excellent. We are happy to come back here and recommend this beautiful restaurant. Price-performance ratio very good.

Have been there several times. But so far only had fried dishes. This afternoon we ordered the first Sauerbraten. Unfortunately, the meat was totally dry and tough. On complaint in the service one informed us that this is probably always so and would be quite normal. We let the dish go back to the kitchen so the cook can try it for himself. But then no reaction. We also had to pay the full amount and did not get an apology. We paid and can not understand where customer friendliness exists.
